Congratulations Matt! Great thriller! I almost missed my commuter train stop reading this. I devoured in in 3 days. Superb page turner. Matt and I joined the Foreign Service at the same time. I'm delighted to see his first novel published and have recommended it to several friends. The hero and heroine are both strong-willed, resourceful, and compassionate. The descriptions are brilliant - especially of African village life and the Congo. The dialogue is witty, clever and wonderfully entertaining. The action is fast-paced and dramatic. I didn't realize until this week, that Matt's father and brother are also thriller writers. What a family! I do hope this will be made into a film. We need more positive attention on sub-Saharan Africa. I look forward to reading his next one with great anticipation. Way to go Matt!
