This is from a 2001 show. It is about 43 minutes long and the sound quality is very good.Don't expect Emerson, Lake and Palmer. This is hard edged rock. It reminds of Jeff Beck's harder albums like Guitar Shop. The group does play ELP numbers but they don't sound anything like ELP.I'm not much for drummer or drum solo fan, but Palmer really shines and drives the band. The guitarist and bass player are adequate but not stand outs. The guitarist reaches into the hard rock bag of tricks a few too many times....probably to make up for his lack of innovation. This album probably doesn't deserve the 5 stars I gave it....but I really do enjoy listening to it. There are a couple of fantastic numbers and there is only one marginal track (LA Nights) that is an over the top hard rock guitar driven number. For albums where I only like portions of it, I will rip the tracks I like and get rid of the CD. On this album, there is only that one track that I wouldn't rip.An oddity about this CD is that the Grace Note in my car doesn't recognize it.
