Dark secrets are revealed and new neighbors aren’t who they appear to be in this psychological thriller from a #1 bestselling author—perfect for fans of The Girl on the Train and Gone Girl. The woman who answers the door tells a convincing story. She’s the house-sitter. Just here for a month. An old friend of Cady’s who needed a place to stay. She’s pleasant and warm, and Maggie wanders back to her house thinking she might have made a new friend. But when Sarah closes the door she knows she must do something about Maggie. She didn’t want anyone to know she’s living at 214 Palmer Street. She doesn’t want anyone to know her name, to find out about her husband, or how she really knows Cady. And she definitely doesn’t want anybody walking into the house…
Riveting psychological thriller. The plot twists are intriguing, keeps you on your toes and turning the page for more. One of Karen’s best novels to date! I could not put this book down. Be prepared to want to finish this book in a day or two! Try not to plan anything around reading this book! The ending was phenomenal and will stay with me for awhile!I loved the characters, and the relationships were relatable. This helped keep me submerged in the story. I wanted to know how all the elements connected to one another. I was addicted to this plot and I didn’t want the story to end.214 Palmer Street is one of the best psychological thrillers that I have read by Karen McQuestion. Her storytelling and depth as a writer of psychological suspense continues to grow with each new novel. Told from multiple points of view, the readers follow the story to find out what truly happened at 214 Palmer Street.-BrandiReads
